Ad Deum Dance Company was founded by Randall Flinn as a project based company in 1991. In 2000, the company began thier full time organization which included the professional company and a trainee/mentoring program. The company is now comprised of amazingly talented dancers that have relocated to Houston, Texas from all across the globe. Our second company, AD2, began in 2010. The company is under the artistic direction of founder Randall Flinn who is also serves as resident choreographer along with other Ad Deum members.
Ad Deum has toured across the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia. Their work has been featured in Dance Magazine and Dance Spirit Magazine. They have received outstanding reviews of their performances from worldwide audiences and writers. The company has performed the works of many honored choreographers including Steve Rooks,former principal dancer with Martha Graham, Hope Boykin of the Alvin Ailey Dance Company, Bill Wade of Inlet Dance Theatre, Caleb Mitchell, formerly with Houston Ballet, and have also worked with Matthew Rushing and Troy Powell of Alvin Ailey and Durell Comedy of The Jose Limon Dance Company.
Ad Deum’s mission is to create and perform works that offer moving images of hope and healing, washing over the very body, soul and spirit of those who witness their artistry.
