Tina Mullone (TX/LA) is an artist and educator. She works in Louisiana but commutes to Texas to work with Beckles Dancing Company, Contemporary Dance/Fort Worth (as Associate Artistic Director) and co-director of M2 (m squared), a performance art duo based in Monroe, LA. She served as Dance Education Specialist for the International Association of Blacks in Dance and ACDA board member for two consecutive terms. She is a certified teacher at M’Singha Wuti level of Umfundalai, Pilates mat as well as dance specialist for Louisiana A+Schools. Her most recent accomplishments include acceptance into Dance/USA’s Institute Training program, a residency at Emory & Henry College and acceptance into Mind the Gap Concert series with M2, participating on academic discussion panels at the International Association of Blacks in Dance and the Collegium for African Diaspora Dance conferences and performing in honor of the great Eleo Pomare with Beckles Dancing Company. She strives to keep the arts alive through collaborations, performing, choreographing and teaching.
