SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:

Fresh Arts is small, passionate, and collaborative team committed to empowering Houston’s vibrant artist community currently seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to the Executive Director and assist with daily administrative operations.

The Finance and Accounting Assistant will handle bookkeeping, accounting support, office operations, CRM management, personnel engagement, and program and event coordination. Key responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, working with a third-party CPA on account reconciliations, and facilitating quarterly tax filings. Additionally, the Assistant will support the Executive Director with daily tasks, manage office facilities, and oversee internal communications. They will also manage the CRM platform, generate reports, track donations, and provide logistical support for fundraising events.

While this is a part-time role, there is potential for growth within the organization. Fresh Arts may also provide additional professional development opportunities for highly motivated individuals to further enhance the skills required for the position.
