Carolina Salomon Simon is a Houston- based dance educator, choreographer and performer. She trained at the Houston Ballet Academy and earned her B.F.A at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She specializes in ballet and contemporary techniques teaching all levels from beginner ballet to advanced contemporary.
Through her dance collective "Make What Moves You", Salomon creates work inspired by her life as a Mexican- American woman and the stories of her female ancestors, exploring themes of identity, culture, and self- expression. Her choreography has been presented in Mexico City and New York City.
Salomon's work is grounded in technical rigor, thoughtful movement exploration, and emotional storytelling. She strives to create performances that resonate with audiences, challenging perceptions, and celebrate the transformative power of dance as both an artistic and cultural language.
