Dolly Goyal (@stepsfordancing) an experienced dancer/choreographer of 25 years of experience in teaching is the founder of Steps for Dancing.
A Kathak dancer & an educator who has been leading the way from 2018 in Houston to cater the requirements of classical dance students for Kathak. Her main objective is to build a love for dancing in anyone, to give anyone the confidence and professional guidance to express and enjoy dancing for both classical and non-classical dance forms like Indian folk dances, semi-classical.
Her dance journey with esteemed love for dance began from her childhood at the age of 3 in India, traveled to Singapore, and now serves in Houston.
Accomplished Kathak exponent Dolly Goyal is on a mission to popularize this classical dance form's rich history and nuances. With extensive training from revered gurus and continuous learning, she embodies expertise and innovation. Her stage presence and choreography blend tradition with creativity, pushing boundaries while staying true to Kathak's essence. As a self-critical perfectionist, Dolly Goyal strives for excellence, inspiring others to explore and appreciate the beauty of Kathak.
