Job Title: Children’s Ballet Teacher

Classification: Part-time

Summary: Bayou City Ballet School is seeking a Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet teacher to begin June of 2026.

The ideal candidate is an experienced dance educator for ages 3-6, who loves young children and recognizes the value of quality early childhood dance education.

Bayou City Ballet is looking for a dedicated team member interested in further developing the school’s pre-ballet curriculum, which nurtures innate musicality and imagination through age-appropriate locomotive skills.

Classes run year-round on Saturday mornings.

Compensation: Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience and credentials. Professional development opportunities provided when available.

Qualifications:

-A warm, nurturing person with a magnetic presence around children, who can also command a room

-Must love kids and have a passion for dance education

-Dance degree or equivalent experience, and/or certifications

-Ideally minimum of two years experience teaching children ages 3-6

-Strong references

-Availability to teach Saturday mornings
