Houston Arts Alliance’s Let Creativity Happen (LCH) and City’s Initiative (CI) Round 2 grants are now open.

The City’s Initiative grant program provides funding of up to $10,000 to individual artists, creatives, and nonprofits for strategic and creative opportunities that engage visitors and residents while building upon Houston’s cultural identity and tourism.

The Let Creativity Happen grant category provides funding of up to $2,500 for specific programs that amplify artistic creativity and innovation taking place in the City of Houston. LCH grants are designed to encourage artists, creative individuals, and organizations to take creative risks that may not qualify for more traditional funding opportunities.

This year’s guidelines and application interface include updates informed by the Grants Working Group and Panel Working Group, with the goal of making the application process more accessible, and more responsive to the artists and organizations HAA serves.

Applications will close on Tuesday, June 23 at 11:59 PM CT.
