The Body Dramaturgy Workshop is a creative experience that integrates dance, physical theater, and theoretical studies. Designed by Andrea Vázquez Aguirre and Maria Giovanna Falcone, this workshop focuses on exploring and expressing concepts of possession and devotion through movement and gestural composition.
Aimed at performing artists, movement artists, and the general public, the workshop is open to 20 participants, preferably with experience in physical theater, dance, or circus, and a strong inclination towards collective creation. Over the course of four sessions, participants will immerse themselves in a process of constructing symbolic and physical actions.
During the workshop, participants will work on their own interpretations of the concepts of possession and devotion, also exploring sensuality and violence. These themes will be approached from a mystical and religious perspective, creating a dramaturgy that uses the body as the main medium of expression.
