Dance Writing In Community

Monday, November 4
7:00-9:00pm
MATCH, 3400 Main St
FREE! Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Join Dance Source Houston for this workshop to discuss reasons to write about dance with consideration for the community in which the dancing and the writing take place. Participants will be asked to develop their own ethos around dance writing and about their place within the community. This workshop is for arts writers who want to explore dance, dancers who want to explore writing about their art, and artists looking for insight into how or why writers write about their work. Dance Source Houston will also share information about their dance writings program and how members can receive coverage on The Dance Dish.

Presented by Neil Ellis Orts.
