Taking Flight

Psophonia Dance Company. All the works on the evening program connect in some way to flight - the magic, the struggle, the fall. The idea sprang out of Torres' fascination with flight from creating shadow birds on the bedroom wall to propelling the body into the air on the playground swing, Sleep unfolded into dreams of leaning into the sky, falling and then magically flying. 8pm.
