For the first time in Houston, in a specially commissioned performance, SIA presents six classical dance forms of India: Bharat Natyam, Kathak, Mohiniattam, Odissi, Kuchipudi, and Manipuri on the same stage. The classical repertoire is complemented by regional folk dances. Scholarly narration highlights common elements and distinct features of the six dance forms.
