Aidan Aloma is a student at Sam Houston State University, where he is working towards achieving his BFA in Dance. He has had the opportunity to take instruction from Terrill Mitchell, Lenorris Arnold, Travis Lake, Adele Nickel, Francisco Graciano, Takehiro Ueyama, Dual Rivet, Brandon Coleman, Christian Denice, Madison Hicks, Tammy Dyke Compton and many more. Aidan has had the opportunity to guest artist for WhirlWind Dance, under the direction of Joshua Manculich and with NobleMotion Dance Company, under the direction of Andy & Dionne Noble.

Short Description
Andrew Robert Smith is originally from Ingleside, Texas and received his BA in Dance Performance from the University of Texas-Pan American. While at UTPA, he performed with the UTPA Blazers Dance Team, UTPA Dance Ensemble, and UTPA Ballet Folklorico, with whom he performed with at the National College Dance Festival at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. Professionally, Andrew has traveled the world and performed as a dancer and aerialist with Cedar Point Amusement Park, Carnival Cruise Lines, RWS Entertainment Group, Holland America Line, Regent Seven Seas, and Norwegian Creative Studios. Other credits include “Pepe" in West Side Story (AD Players at the George Theatre). In addition to dance, Andrew is a third generation comprehensive Pilates instructor under the mentorship of Tanya Swayze Miller. Currently, Andrew is a second year graduate teaching assistant at Sam Houston State University where he is a candidate for the Master of Fine Arts in Dance.

Nicholas Zack is from Richmond, Texas and currently receiving his Masters of Fine Arts in Dance from Sam Houston State University after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Dance from Stephen F. Austin State University in December of 2022. Nicholas’ dance journey started in 2016 when he joined his high school’s drill team as the first male dancer in his school district. Following high school he began focusing on teaching and learning in various styles of dance such as Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Tap and Cultural based dances. Nicholas was a company member of Dimensions Contemporary Ballet (now known as Verve) for two years and has worked with dance faculty and artists across the country such as Heather Samuelson, Haley Hoss Jameson, Amanda “Mandi” Moore, Alexis Anderson-Chavez, Keith Haynes, Jennifer Mabus and Francisco Graciano. His passion is educating students through dance while providing a space for minorities to thrive. He is currently teaching in studios across the Greater Houston area.

Violet is a polymathic artist and working mental health professional. They have toured and performed select works as an invited artist, soloist, and company member with several companies across the United States. Violet writes, makes music, and has also had their visual artwork featured across Houston. In addition to recently choreographing several original works, Violet frequently studies around the world. Their purpose is to learn how to co-create safer and more compassionate environments for individual and collective healing and revolution— through reclamation and liberation of the self.
